To figure out where the most dangerous intersections in Gainesville are, we looked at Gainesville-Hall Metropolitan Planning Organization’s County Crash Profiles data. By analyzing the crash profile for Hall County, we found that the five intersections with the highest number of collisions are:

  • Dawsonville Highway and McEver Road — 91 collisions and 14 injuries
  • Jesse Jewel Parkway and Limestone Parkway — 55 collisions and 4 injuries
  • Browns Bridge Road and McEver Road — 51 collisions and 24 injuries
  • Dawsonville Highway and Green Hill Circle — 44 collisions and 12 injuries
  • EE Butler Parkway and West Ridge Road — 42 collisions and 14 injuries

If you go by the number of injuries instead of the number of accidents, the five most dangerous intersections in Gainesville are:

  • Jesse Jewel Parkway and Downey Boulevard — 37 collisions and 32 injuries
  • Browns Bridge Road and McEver Road — 51 collisions and 24 injuries
  • Dawsonville Highway and McEver Road— 91 collisions and 14 injuries
  • EE Butler Parkway and West Ridge Road — 42 collisions and 14 injuries
  • Dawsonville Highway and Green Hill Circle — 44 collisions and 12 injuries

Gainesville, GA, Traffic Accident Statistics

While it’s helpful to know which intersections in Gainesville are the most prone to accidents, that information doesn’t give you a complete picture of how safe it is to drive around the area.
