Adopted sisters unknowingly live near each other

There are many reasons that people in Georgia decide to adopt children. There are also many children not only in Georgia, but also around the world that are waiting to find a family to adopt them. Adoption can create loving families. And, it has great benefits for the children being adopted and for the parents who adopt the children. However, one part of the adoption process is that sometimes, biological siblings are adopted into different families.

This happened for three biological sisters from Romania. Two of the sisters were adopted when they were under two-years-old, and both were adopted into families in North Georgia. These two sisters knew each other as their respective adoptive parents, got to know each other and told the girls they were sisters.

However, they also had another sister whose adoption was not finalized until she was 12, after a long adoption process. The other two girls did not know about this sister.

One of the girls started looking into her past to try and find her biological parents and through that search, found this other sister. The odd part was that unknowingly, the other sister was also adopted by a family in North Georgia and even attended the school where her adoptive father taught.

Many people even commented that the girls looked alike. The sisters recently were finally able to meet in person. It was a reunion that led to further discoveries about their family.

This adoption in Georgia is a happy and unique one. While adoption does have many great benefits for the parents and children involved, it can be a long and complicated process as well. There is a lot of paperwork that must be completed correctly and a lot of information needed. Experienced attorneys in Georgia understand the adoption process though and may be able to guide one through it.
